The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) continues to foster scientific curiosity and innovation among learners through various initiatives. One of its key efforts is the CBSE Science Exhibition, which offers students a platform to showcase creativity and link new ideas with existing knowledge. For the academic session 2025–26, the exhibition will be held in two stages—Regional and National. The events are scheduled to take place from October 2025 to January 2026.

Important Dates
- Online registration, fee payment, and project/exhibit submission: 3rd September 2025 to 26th September 2025
- Last date for registration and fee submission: 26th September 2025
Registration Fee
- A registration fee of Rs. 3000/- per school is applicable.
- The fee must be paid only through the online payment gateway.
Guidelines
1. Categories of Participation
- Category I: Classes 6–8
- Category II: Classes 9–11
2. School Team Composition
- Maximum two students from the same category
- One mentor Science teacher
3. Team Registration Rules
- A school can register a maximum of two teams
- Names of students and mentor teacher cannot be changed once registered
- The same team must participate at both Regional and National levels
4. Project Rules
- Sub-theme and project title cannot be changed after registration
- Each registered team will receive unique login credentials for online submission
5. Type of Student Projects
- Investigation-based study
- Application of basic Science & Technology principles
- Novel/indigenous solution or design to a problem

Participation of Foreign Schools
1. Regional Round
- Teams from foreign schools will participate online through video conferencing.
2. National Round
- Winning teams from foreign schools must attend the National Round in India physically.
- All travel, stay, and related expenses are to be borne by the participating school.
3. Selection for National Level
- The best 14 exhibits (number may vary depending on quality) from each regional venue will qualify for the National Level Exhibition.
- Details of the date and venue will be announced later.
Opportunities for Winners
- Names of winners of the CBSE National Science Exhibition will be recommended for consideration as entries in the Rashtriya Bal Vaigyaanik Pradarshani (RBVP) 2026, organized by NCERT.
- Confirmation of participation will depend on the final selection for RBVP.
- Winners may also get a direct entry to the IRIS Science Fair 2025–26, subject to their selection for the same.
