Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, media literacy emphasizes responsible participation by encouraging students to thoughtfully consume and ethically create media content. It highlights digital safety, privacy protection, and respectful online interaction. By integrating media literacy into education, NEP 2020 seeks to develop informed, confident, and responsible digital citizens. In this context, CIET-NCERT, in collaboration with IIMC, New Delhi, is organizing a five-hour online training series on “Media Literacy.” The program will be held in English from 13–17 October 2025, between 4 PM and 5 PM.

How to Participate & Certificate
- The online course will be available on the DIKSHA portal starting from 30th September 2025.
- Visit the DIKSHA portal, log in with your credentials, search for the course, and enroll.
- Watch all the course videos carefully.
- After completing the videos, attempt the final assessment.
- You can attempt the final assessment up to three times.
- A minimum score of 70% in the final assessment is required to receive the certificate.
- The certificate will be available on your DIKSHA profile page.
- It may take 15–20 days for the certificate to appear.
- For any technical issues, raise a complaint through the “Teacher Help” section on the DIKSHA portal.
