The online training on “Data Privacy & Protection” aims to strengthen the knowledge and skills of educators and institutional stakeholders by providing both conceptual understanding and practical demonstrations on secure data handling. Aligned with the vision of NEP 2020, which emphasizes digital literacy and cyber safety (Para 23.6), this five-hour programme by CIET-NCERT in collaboration with ISEA-CDAC, Hyderabad, will help participants learn to safeguard personal and institutional data and promote responsible digital practices.
The English training will be held from 01–05 December 2025 and the Hindi training from 08–12 December 2025, with live sessions daily from 4:00 to 5:00 pm on NCERT’s YouTube channel, PM eVidya DTH TV Channels (6–12), and the Jio TV app, with all sessions also available as recorded playlists.

How to Participate & Certificate
- The course will be available on the DIKSHA portal from 30th September 2025.
- Visit the DIKSHA portal, log in with your credentials, search for the course, and enrol.
- Watch all the course videos attentively.
- After completing the videos, attempt the final assessment.
- You will have up to three attempts to pass the assessment.
- A minimum score of 70% is required to qualify for the certificate.
- The certificate will be accessible on your DIKSHA profile page.
- Please allow 15–20 days for the certificate to be issued.
- For any technical concerns, submit a request through the “Teacher Help” section on the DIKSHA portal.
