National digital initiatives like DIKSHA are strengthening the adoption of AI-enabled educational resources while highlighting the importance of ethical AI use, including data privacy, transparency, fairness and inclusivity. AI is positioned as a supportive tool that enhances teachers’ pedagogical practices rather than replacing them.
To support this vision, CIET-NCERT is organising a five-hour online training series, “Leveraging AI for Transforming School Education,” from 19–23 January 2026 (English) and 26–30 January 2026 (Hindi), daily from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The sessions will be broadcast live on NCERT’s YouTube Channel, simulcast on PM e-Vidya DTH TV Channels (6–12) and the Jio TV app, with recordings available on YouTube.

Teachers, teacher educators, students, and other education stakeholders.

- Day 1: Foundations of Artificial Intelligence: Key Concepts, Components and Working Principles
- Day 2: Policy Frameworks and Governance Models for AI Integration in School Education
- Day 3: AI-Driven Classroom Practices for Personalised, Adaptive and Interactive Learning
- Day 4: Pedagogical Integration of AI: Strategies for Effective Classroom Implementation
- Day 5: Ethical, Safe and Responsible AI Use in School Education
DIKSHA Course & Certificate:
- Join the online course on the DIKSHA portal (open till 15 March 2026).
- Complete all the video sessions of the course.
- Attempt the final assessment (maximum 3 attempts allowed).
- Score 70% or above to become eligible for the certificate.
- The certificate will be available on your DIKSHA profile within 15–20 days after successful completion.
