Technical Requirements for Schools for On-Screen Marking (OSM)

Availability of a computer lab with a Public Static IP, as prescribed in the CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws
Use of desktop or laptop systems running Windows 8 or above
Systems should have a minimum of 4 GB RAM for smooth functioning
At least 1 GB of free space on the C: drive must be available
Continuous and reliable power supply to prevent interruptions during evaluation
Installation of updated web browsers such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox
Adobe Reader must be installed for viewing and evaluating scanned answer scripts
Access to a stable internet connection with a minimum speed of 2 Mbps for seamless online marking
