The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 requires every teacher to complete 50 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) annually to enhance teaching skills and professional competencies. With nearly one crore teachers across India, conducting large-scale in-person training is challenging, making online courses a flexible, scalable, and effective solution for continuous learning.
To support this, the Central Institute of Educational Technology & Training Division (CIET&TD), NCERT is organizing an online training on “Development of Online Course” from 02 to 13 March 2026 (4:00 PM to 5:00 PM). The programme focuses on building capacity in digital pedagogy, instructional design, learner engagement, and assessment practices to help educators design and deliver high-quality online courses.
