CBSE HERITAGE QUIZ 2025

The CBSE Heritage India Quiz encourages students to explore and celebrate the richness of India’s cultural legacy. This year, the spotlight is on “Heritage through Vibrant Festivals of India”—a theme that emphasizes how our festivals reflect age-old traditions and knowledge systems. Through this quiz, students will gain deeper insight into the importance of safeguarding India’s cultural diversity for future generations.

Guidelines 

• All CBSE-affiliated schools in India and abroad are eligible to participate in the Heritage India Quiz 2025.
• Each school can nominate a team of three students from Classes IX to XII.
• Registration must be done online at www.cbseacademic.nic.in with a fee of ₹1500 per team by 30th September 2025. No other mode of payment will be accepted.
• Schools must ensure stable broadband internet in the computer lab and arrange one additional computer with UPS and internet as backup.
• Only schools completing registration and fee submission within the deadline will be allowed to participate.

Competition Details

Stage 1: Online Test (October 2025)

• Duration: 50 minutes, computer-based, 60 MCQs.
• Team: 3 students (Classes IX–XII), selected by the school.
• Access: Schools log in with LOC credentials (only after fee submission).
• Venue: Conducted in school IT labs.
• Selection: Top 6 teams from each cluster qualify

Stage 2: Cluster Round (November 2025)

• Mode: Online via video conferencing.
• Participants: Top 6 teams from each cluster.
• Selection: Winning team of each cluster advances to the Semi-Finals in Delhi.

Stage 3: Semi-Finals & National Final (December 2025)

• Venue: Delhi.
• Format: Qualifying teams grouped into 4; winners proceed to the Final.
• Announcement: Dates for Semi-Finals & Final will be declared on CBSE website.

Rewards

Note : Economy airfare for the shortest route (3 students + 1 teacher) will be reimbursed to teams qualifying for the National Semi-Finals, on submission of ticket and boarding pass copies.
