CIET–NCERT 6-Day Online Training on Robotics and AI in Education | DIKSHA Course

Robotics is becoming an important tool in modern education, supporting the vision of the National Education Policy 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education 2023. It helps connect classroom concepts with real-world applications through hands-on learning. Robotics-based activities integrate STEM and STEAM education, allowing students to design, build, and test solutions while developing creativity, problem-solving skills, collaboration, and technological understanding.

To support this approach, Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), National Council of Educational Research and Training in collaboration with Robotex India is organising a six-day online training programme on “Robotics and Artificial Intelligence in Education.” The sessions will be streamed through NCERT’s official YouTube channel and the PM eVidya DTH TV channel. The full series will also be made available as a course on the DIKSHA portal for teachers, students, and educators.

Who Can Participate?

Teachers, teacher educators, students, and other education stakeholders.

Training Programme Highlights:

• Day 1: Inaugural session- Robotics and AI: Policy Perspective, Needs and Scope
• Day 2: Robotics and AI: What Every Teacher Should Know
• Day 3: From Chalk to Code: Why AI & Robotics Matter in School Education
• Day 4: Demystifying Artificial Intelligence: Concepts, Myths, and Realities
• Day 5: Fundamentals of Robotics: Sensors, Actuators, and Controllers
• Day 6: AI in Everyday Life: Classroom-Friendly Examples

DIKSHA Course & Certificate:

• Register for the online course on the DIKSHA portal before 15 March 2026.
• Complete all the video modules provided in the course.
• Appear for the final assessment (maximum three attempts permitted).
• Score 70% or above to qualify for the certificate.
• The certificate will be issued on your DIKSHA profile within 15–20 days after successful completion.
