NCERT Language Learning Programmes for English Teachers – Apply Before 17 May 2026

The Regional Institute of Education (RIE), a constituent unit of NCERT, has announced Language Learning and Teaching Programmes for School Teachers of English. These programmes are designed in alignment with NEP 2020, NCF-SE 2023, and SDG goals, focusing on enhancing teaching skills, pedagogy, and professional competency through a blended learning mode.

These courses are ideal for in-service teachers (TGT/PGT English) and also contribute towards Annual CPD Hours.

📌 Programme Details

1️⃣ Certificate in English Language Education (CELE)

Eligibility: TGT/PGT English
Duration: 6 Months
Offline Component: 7 Days
Fee: ₹3000
Run Time: July – December

2️⃣ Diploma in English Language Skills (DELS)

Eligibility: TGT/PGT English
Duration: 1 Year
Offline Component: 15 Days
Fee: ₹5000
Run Time: July – June

3️⃣ Advanced Diploma in the Teaching of English (ADTE)

Eligibility: TGT/PGT English
Duration: 2 Years
Offline Component: 30 Days
Fee: ₹10,000
Run Time: July – June
