The Central Board of Secondary Education has officially released a circular regarding the assessment scheme for the declaration of Class X results 2026 for students in Middle East regions.
🌍 Why This Decision Was Taken
CBSE has cancelled the remaining Class X main examinations (as per circular dated 05.03.2026) after reviewing the prevailing situation in countries like:
- Bahrain
- Iran
- Kuwait
- Oman
- Qatar
- Saudi Arabia
- UAE
However, exams conducted between 17 February 2026 to 28 February 2026 were completed successfully.

During the conducted exams, the following subjects were included:
- Academic Subjects: 6 (including Mathematics, English, Science)
- Languages: 16
- Skill Subjects: 22
📝 Assessment Scheme for Result Preparation
CBSE has introduced a structured assessment policy based on the number of exams attempted by students:
✅ 1. Students Appeared in All Exams
- Results will be declared based on actual performance in exams.
✅ 2. Students Appeared in 4 Exams

Marks will be calculated using the average of the best 3 subjects for the remaining subjects.
✅ 3. Students Appeared in 3 Exams

Marks will be calculated using the average of the best 2 subjects.
✅ 4. Students Appeared in 2 Exams

Marks will be calculated based on the average of the 2 subjects for the remaining papers.
📌 Special Cases & Important Points
🔹 For Students (2025 or Earlier – Registered in 2 Subjects)
- If appeared in 1 or 2 exams, → Result based on performance
- If any exam is pending → Opportunity to appear in second board exams
🔹 Students Who Changed Exam Centre Country
- Results will be based on their actual performance
🔹 Result Declaration
- Results of Middle East students will be declared along with other CBSE students
🔹 Improvement Opportunity
- Students can appear in second board exams to improve their scores
🔹 Internal Assessment
- Already completed and will be considered as submitted by schools
